Responsibilities
- Understand and adhere to specified Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), complying with FDA requirements and ISO standards.
- Verify setup and calibration of machines and tools daily.
- Proficiency in use of machines and tools not limited to but including: 10x loupes, micrometers, and pin gauges.
- Adhere to strict tolerances, verifying each part conforms to associated work order.
- Document processes accurately in accordance with Good Documentation Practices standards.
- Maintain constant workflow keeping open communication with fellow Manufacturing Technicians and conducting all job duties in a professional manner.
- Perform line clearance and 5's activities at the beginning and end of the shift.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding daily production quantity goals maintaining good quality on each lens.
Requirements
- Basic computer systems knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiently work on a small delicate scale.
- One year of experience in pharmaceutical/medical device manufacturing preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
