About The Position

Production operators are responsible for the daily tasks associated with manufacturing needs. This role requires learning quickly and working independently with minimal supervision once fully trained. Schedule is M - Th, 5 AM - 3 PM

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand spoken English.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, twisting, bending, lifting, grasping, reaching, foot controls, depth perception, and the ability to safely lift 50 lb.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preference shown to applicants with supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with computers is a plus, particularly Datacor ERP software.
• Forklift experience.
• Bandsaw experience.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and enforce safety policies and procedures following company guidelines.
• Load/ unload materials from hoppers, bins, dryers and other processing equipment.
• Assist the Production Supervisor and Plant Manager with monitoring production/ router schedules.
• Assure compliance with all QA & QC policies.
• Follow all EHS procedures & report equipment failures to supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery to minimize metal dust.
