Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment. This role involves setting up production equipment and supplies before executing job orders, operating equipment safely and effectively for production processing, and ensuring that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition. The operator will inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs, and perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality. Additionally, the role includes providing assistance to junior operators, repairing and cleaning equipment when needed, evaluating equipment performance and recommending improvements, operating trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer production equipment between warehouse and working areas, and following safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
