P&M - Production Operator
About The Position
Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment. This role involves setting up production equipment and supplies before executing job orders, operating equipment safely and effectively for production processing, and ensuring that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition. The operator will inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs, and perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality. Additionally, the role includes providing assistance to junior operators, repairing and cleaning equipment when needed, evaluating equipment performance and recommending improvements, operating trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer production equipment between warehouse and working areas, and following safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
Requirements
- Experience operating manufacturing production equipment (machining, processing, assembly, or packaging).
- Ability to safely and effectively operate equipment.
- Skill in identifying equipment malfunctions and performing repairs.
- Capability to perform regular equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in evaluating equipment performance.
- Experience operating trucks and other industrial vehicles.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
