The Production Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating production operations, managing team performance, optimizing equipment uptime, and ensuring that all processes are followed to achieve consistent, high-quality output during each shift.

  • Plan, organize, and manage daily and long-term production schedules
  • Assess production requirements, workforce needs, and resource availability
  • Estimate, negotiate, and establish budgets and timelines with internal teams and clients
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory guidelines
  • Establish and maintain quality control standards to support consistent product quality
  • Oversee and monitor all production processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Adjust or renegotiate schedules and timelines as needed based on operational demands
  • Select, order, and manage inventory of materials required for production
  • Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance and repairs of production equipment to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate and oversee routine maintenance and repairs of production equipment to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with purchasing, marketing, sales, and other departments to support productions needs
  • Supervise, train, and develop junior staff to ensure strong performance and continuous improvement
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions relevant to production processes and safety

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, business administration, or related field preferred; or equivalent demonstrated in knowledge, skills and experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Production Management/Supervisor role
  • Experience leading successful teams of people
  • Proven experience in negotiating outcomes that align with organizational strategies
  • Experience leading large projects for continuous improvement and organizational growth
  • Strong custom service skills with proven experience in conflict resolution
  • Strong computer skills with working Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and enterprise resource planning, and customer relationship management systems
