About the position
Raycap, Inc. is seeking a night shift Production Lead to oversee various production activities and ensure efficient workflow. This role involves managing production processes, training employees, and maintaining safety standards while adapting to changes in product demand.
Responsibilities
- Verify materials on work order to ensure correct number of components are available for production
- Ensure all employees abide by the safety regulations
- Keep the production line clean of any debris at all times; clean up production line when production is completed
- Review work order for assembly instruction
- Assign work to employees
- Train employees on the procedure to assemble products per assigned role for the day
- Update production metrics on hourly production for Production Supervisor
- Prepare documents regarding line and quality checks; request additional components for production line as needed
- Escalate production issues to Production Supervisor or Production Manager as needed
- Perform quality checks of the line; perform other duties as needed or assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of computers and programs contained with Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform a variety of production operations or operate a variety of production machinery and equipment
- Ability to work overtime when needed
