Responsibilities
- Close work orders within 24 hours
- Complete production and runtime reports
- Plan production schedules to meet deadlines
- Promote safety and lead safety discussions
- Ensure PPE compliance and report issues
- Maintain 5S housekeeping standards
- Train employees on 5S audits
- Provide job training and set goals
- Hold employees accountable and share company mission
- Gather team feedback
- Manage scrap reports and monitor material usage
- Control inventory and collaborate on staffing needs within budget
- Adhere to SOPs and enforce company policies
- Lead by example and manage meetings
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping for safety, production, and quality
- Identify production bottlenecks and update procedures
- Ensure QMS compliance and conduct team-building meetings
- Perform tasks as assigned by the manager
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in a high-speed production line
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
