Under general supervision, the Production Control Specialist provides additional support throughout the lifecycle of a customer job. Proactively completes a variety of operational functions that contribute to the company's successful project on-time delivery (OTD) and overall internal and external customer satisfaction. Prioritizes critical jobs and ensures all customer job requirements are met. The Production Control Specialist performs production control review of all approved customer jobs and routes in-house rework (IHRW) job requirements between shops. This role ensures an efficient flow of all jobs through operations and accurately maintains open job statuses. The specialist processes part swapping and material prioritizations to improve efficient customer job completion at the direction of leadership. They complete customer job and inventory transactions related to component exchanges and the USM program, coordinating with Supervisor and Lead on priority jobs to ensure material requirements are processed expediently. Additionally, the specialist collaborates interdepartmentally to resolve discrepancies as required and provides exceptional customer service, both internally and externally. They work closely with Operations leadership to support all project-related requirements, identify and communicate potential opportunities for process improvements, and assist with any other necessary operational support functions to help meet critical customer job deadlines. The role also involves fielding customer service and sales job status questions, escalating problems to the supervisor as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Experience in Aviation or MRO preferred.
