Production Associate - Cutting - PM shift

About The Position

This role is responsible for handling glass from tables and rolling racks for eight to twelve hours daily. The associate will be transporting materials, including glass, from one position/location to another. They will follow work instructions by reading labels to expedite the production process and understand/communicate paperwork and labels/picking lists. Additionally, the associate will inspect product for any abnormalities and notify the supervisor immediately of any issues.

Requirements

Experience in a production or manufacturing environment; Glass industry is preferred (not required).
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted. Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to push weights greater than 150lbs with a team.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager and/or Branch Manager.
Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region in a non-climate-controlled facility (Heat, Cold, humidity).
