About the position
The Product Support Sales position at Arnold Machinery focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction through effective sales of parts, labor, and equipment in the mining division. The role involves direct interaction with customers to ensure their equipment operates efficiently while also mentoring and training future technicians.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and the dealership
- Drive labor and parts sales, contributing to customer satisfaction
- Assist Service Writers with job closing and monitoring of work-in-progress (WIP)
- Cold-call potential customers to expand business opportunities
- Review and update work schedules, estimates, and quotes
- Compile reports and assist with special projects
- Train and mentor technicians to develop skills and knowledge
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Computer literate, with ability to learn various software tools
- Ability to negotiate, lead, and problem-solve effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of machinery repair and inventory management
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain excellent customer service
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience with machinery or mechanical background is preferred
- Strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn
