About The Position

As a Product Marketing Specialist for Nilfisk, you play a pivotal role on the Americas Marketing team coordinating and executing product marketing strategies, with a specific focus on successful new product launches. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, working hand-in-hand with regional and global product management and marketing teams, including asset development, campaign creation and execution, internal launching, channel communications, and overall collaboration to strength our brands and boost sales. You will also work closely with your Product Marketing Manager to manage the launch calendar and creative execution plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in product marketing, B2B marketing, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software/tools.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and execution of new product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and marketing.
  • Collaborate closely with product development teams to understand new product features and benefits, providing critical input for marketing campaigns
  • Create and activate marketing campaigns focused on new product launches, including email marketing, online advertising, and social media to target end-users and dealers.
  • Work closely with the sales and product team to support training and sales tools.
  • Localize and maintain product collateral, including product datasheets, presentations, training and sales enablement materials specific products.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of new product marketing initiatives, tracking key metrics and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure successful launches.
  • Use analytics to measure the effectiveness of new product marketing campaigns and recommend improvements
  • Support tradeshows with product marketing knowledge and recommendations
  • Support the updating of current product assets across all product line – floorcare, vacuums and HPW.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competitive insights, with a specific focus on product positions and strategies.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts for promotions of products that lag in unit volume or promotional support, including PAC
  • Support various programs as needed in relation to brand alignments, re-brands and private label.
