About the position

The Product Manager for Video Report in Trust & Safety at ByteDance is responsible for driving complex projects independently, defining the product roadmap, and establishing success metrics for report features. This role focuses on building effective and scalable report moderation systems to ensure a safe user experience. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze and prioritize workflows, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of inspiring creativity and enriching life.

Responsibilities

  • Drive complex projects independently and define the product roadmap.
  • Set success metrics that inform the success of report features.
  • Partner across the organization to develop action plans.
  • Build effective and scalable report moderation systems and processes.
  • Work closely with issue experts and policy teams to establish workflows.
  • Critically analyze and prioritize cross-functional efforts to achieve success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.
  • 3 years of related work experience.
  • 1 year of experience performing market assessments of business opportunities.
  • 1 year of experience managing projects involving cross-functional stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience building dashboards and reports using SQL and Google Analytics.
  • 1 year of experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive product implementation.
  • 1 year of experience designing and executing multi-stage Go-To-Market and product testing strategies.
