About the position
The Quality Assurance Product Manager will lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of consumer video product strategies. This role focuses on enhancing user experience and driving product adoption while navigating the evolving landscape of video services and technology. The manager will work closely with senior leadership and various departments to ensure the successful launch and growth of video consumer products.
Responsibilities
- Oversee user experience plans and models for consumer video products.
- Drive adoption of video services and create differentiated experiences for customers.
- Support the development of a compelling video platform with both partner and internal content sources.
- Analyze marketplace dynamics to inform product strategy and execution.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and marketing teams to influence product direction.
Requirements
- 6 or more years in a product leadership role, leading cross-functional teams through influence.
- Knowledge of consumer user experience models.
- Experience launching and growing video consumer products.
- Comfort working with senior executive leadership in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Deep experience in product design and development methodologies.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience conducting and compiling consumer customer research.
- Experience in video delivery, either traditional linear or OTT, or consumer technology.
- Ability to deal with multi-dimensional problems with an innovative and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with JIRA and/or Agile development methodologies.
