About the position

The Product Engineering Graphic Artist at EnerSys is responsible for creating and updating product labels and packaging designs. This role involves collaboration with the design engineering team and production department to ensure that all packaging designs are visually appealing, meet brand guidelines, and comply with industry standards. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in graphic design software.

Responsibilities

• Create and update product labels and packaging designs according to company specifications.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop new packaging concepts.
• Ensure all designs comply with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and packaging regulations.
• Prepare and present design drafts for feedback and approval.
• Modify and revise existing artwork based on product updates or feedback from stakeholders.
• Work with production teams to ensure designs are print-ready and troubleshoot any production issues.
• Assist with other graphic design tasks as needed (e.g., marketing collateral, digital graphics).

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with Graphic Design software preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good planning and prioritization skills.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Competency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Power Point), SolidWorks, Windchill and project planning software preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Basic knowledge of packaging design and printing processes is a plus.
