About The Position

IBG North America specializes in turnkey solutions, private label and packaging in the beauty industry. Together, we are concept builders and boosters with global opportunities for well-known retailers and brands. We are currently looking for a Product Developer/Project Manager to join our New York Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing new launches for full turnkey, stock packaging and/or accessories to insure on time delivery, at a targeted margin, within respect of the customers quality & timing expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Cosmetics, Fashion Management, Business/Marketing
• 3-5 years experience in a previous project management or product development role
• Project planning experience and have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with fragrance houses, international factories and vendors strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of Wrike, and ClickUp or other Project Management tools is an asset
• Previous experience in beauty or personal care considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Organize Kick off meeting with Sales, Quality & NPD management (once brief is assigned) & define best approach (approved vendors, risk assessment…etc)
• Source accessory, packaging and/or formula based on customer brief.
• Source and vet vendors compatible with project and regulatory requirements
• Negotiate with suppliers to get the right cost to meet IBG target margins & customer target price
• Prepare Costing sheets & monitor target margin.
• Request samples and compare for quality and performance before submitting to customer.
• Work with Quality/Regulatory team to ensure formula meets customer blacklist and is compliant with country of sell.
• Manage & lead new WON projects to meet expected target.
• Lead Communication between with Internal & External teams
• Create, monitor & communicate Timeline/Critical Path with Internal & External Teams
