As a member of the produce team at Sam's Club, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and freshness of fruits and vegetables for our members. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, stocking merchandise, and providing exceptional customer service, all while contributing to a positive shopping experience. This position requires adaptability, effective communication, and a passion for produce, making it essential for enhancing member satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner.
- Maintain inventory to prevent out-of-stock and over-stock products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools and tasks.
- Understand processes and specifications related to produce quality.
- Prepare products according to established standards and maintain product safety.
- Utilize digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.
- Drive the performance of the area and ensure quality and date control standards.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Passion for and experience with produce.
- Ability to keep member satisfaction as a top priority.
- Comfortable with change and able to adapt to different work scenarios.
- Effective communication skills and ability to positively influence team members.
