About the position

The Procurement Specialist at Innovativ Pharma, Inc. is responsible for enabling operational excellence through effective sourcing and purchasing of various goods and services necessary for site operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures while executing procurement strategies to meet organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services to support the site's operations, following established policies and procedures.
• Negotiate with third-party suppliers, convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders, and release orders to suppliers.
• Lead all stages of the request for proposal process from business requirements alignment to final vendor selection and contracting.
• Finalize agreements and prepare contracts with suppliers.
• Serve as the steward for the SAP Purchase to Pay process and facilitate the supplier payment process.
• Participate in the process of training others.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Strong teamwork, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Proven ability to influence business decisions.
• A working understanding of commercial law.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience.
• SAP experience.
• Previous procurement and negotiation experience.
