About the position

GDIT is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our Supply Chain Organization. The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain procurement process to support our internal stakeholders and government customers. GDIT’s supply chain team is organized by commodity, meaning our teams strategically purchase the same types of products in order to grow their expertise. We have an On-Premise software, cloud/Saas, End User Device/IT Hardware, Server/Storage, Non-IT Hardware, Corporate Services, and Consulting Services teams. We also have a group of dedicated buyers that support specific programs/requirements. This role will be with the On-Premise software team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements.
  • Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.
  • Management of RFQ/RFPs from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution.
  • Completion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.).
  • Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.
  • Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurement.
  • Experience with terms and conditions/pricing negotiation.
  • Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.
  • Performs work on contracts that require U.S. citizenship.
