About the position

The Procurement Analyst I position at Vactor Manufacturing involves coordinating project workflows with various divisions and external suppliers, maintaining supplier quote information, and analyzing pricing proposals. The role supports the implementation of procurement tools and prepares enterprise-wide spend information, while also managing multiple activities and ensuring effective communication across different levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project workflow with various ESG divisions and external suppliers.
• Maintain supplier quote information in specific ERP systems.
• Request and analyze pricing proposals from potential suppliers and communicate results to team members.
• Support the implementation of various procurement sourcing tools, services, and processes.
• Prepare enterprise-wide spend rollup information from numerous sites utilizing different ERP systems.
• Prepare and track support materials for various projects.
• Organize supplier meetings and prepare presentations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related area required; or minimum of 5 years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment in lieu of degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact with various levels of the organization and external suppliers.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple activities simultaneously on schedule.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with MS Excel and other Office products.
• Working knowledge of JD Edwards required; Syteline, Syspro, and Epicor preferred.
• Experience with purchase commodities associated with OEM mobile equipment manufacturing.
