Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three years related mortgage document experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware and software required including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Processing Management functions, providing operational support and cross-functional backup as needed.
  • Manage post-closing mortgage processes, including onboarding loans for servicing, preparing investor sale documentation, and maintaining document retention and off-site records tracking.
  • Process member and loan servicing transactions, including payoffs, refunds, insurance disbursements, lien releases, deposits, payments, and daily balancing/reconciliation activities.
  • Handle incoming mail operations, courier preparation, document scanning, insurance mailings, and welcome package distribution for new mortgage members.
  • Coordinate legal and compliance-related requests by processing subpoenas, court orders, and documentation requests within required timelines.
  • Respond to internal and external member service requests through phone, email, and ticketing systems, including payoff quotes, statements, verification requests, and paid-in-full letters.
  • Maintain positive relationships with members, branches, departments, and external partners while supporting organizational culture and proficiency with required systems and software.
