About the position

The position involves working closely with the Engineering team to develop and qualify new processes and tool sets. This includes characterizing, documenting, and possibly presenting data based on design of experiments (DOE). The role requires reporting and documenting process issues and equipment malfunctions, taking corrective action, and interacting with Process Engineers and Equipment Maintenance to identify and resolve non-conformance in process and equipment operations. Additionally, the position involves handling material depositions and resolving any lot issues that may arise, assisting in creating new procedures, and refining existing ones. The individual will work collaboratively to achieve quarterly set yield and cycle time goals. The role also includes performing technical tests and experiments for process engineering, setting up processing equipment, monitoring and auditing line operators, processing test runs, and preparing records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products. Technical assistance will be provided to process development and engineering personnel.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems such as SPC violations and perform error recovery.
  • Understanding of basic math and chemistry.
  • Experience with MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
