The Production Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
  • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
  • Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of supervisory in a Material Planning and Logistic manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in operations, Transportation & Logistics, or Supply Chain
  • Safety and MPL experience
  • Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently
