Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma with 3 years’ experience in a financial environment/bookkeeping/accounting OR Associate's degree in a financial area with limited experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education, certification, work experience will be considered.
  • Proven track record in administrative roles, with a focus on payment processing and financial reconciliation.
  • Exceptionally diligent and can handle multiple tasks with precision.
  • Strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with both internal and external collaborators.
  • Ambitious and driven, always looking for ways to improve processes and achieve flawless execution.
  • Proficient in using payment processing systems and have a good understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Can determine the root cause of issues and successfully implement solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve missing or misapplied payments in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Research payment exceptions and discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.
  • Process manual payment adjustments accurately and in compliance with company policies.
  • Assist customers and internal teams with autopay setups, cancellations, and returned payments.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all payment-related activities and resolutions.
  • Monitor payment queues and bring up issues as needed to ensure service-level agreements are met.
  • Collaborate with the payment services vendor to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate records and reports.
