The position includes responsibilities such as administering medications, performing procedures, and managing client schedules, with some weekend shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
• Manage day-to-day schedules and client assignments.
• Perform initial and ongoing in-home evaluation, coordination, and supervision of client services.
• Provide preventive and rehabilitative non-medical procedures; may provide limited skilled nursing services when applicable.
• Complete appropriate visit records in a timely manner and according to policy.
• Conduct initial and ongoing visits to prospective and existing clients following initial referrals to introduce FirstLight Home Care and foster relationship growth.
• Participate in the quality assurance reviews and evaluations of the agency's services, as requested.

Requirements

• Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing and currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in nursing, with home care experience preferred.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite and scheduling software required.
• Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, along with a positive and professional image.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in home health nursing preferred.
