About The Position

As a Senior Consultant, Private Investment Counsel, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of high-net-worth clients through various prospecting methods such as networking, telemarketing, seminars, trade shows and other marketing tools. You will apply extensive in-depth knowledge to present a broad array of products and services to clients including individual equities, fixed-income offerings, managed products, third-party investments and insurance, and other solutions to meet clients’ financial needs. As a senior consultant, you will have ownership of processes and milestones, connecting people and networks, and drawing on the Bank’s broader team and supporting our community. The role devises new methods to advise clients using strong analytic and inductive thinking, delivering excellence every day with high-quality technology and service, making clients’ goals their own. Requirements

  • Degree in business or a related field.
  • Completion of CSC is an asset.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement independently.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and ensure problem resolution and follow-up as required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of daily market activities sufficient to provide/explain information to clients.
  • General knowledge of the financial industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and can process transactions accurately, while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Values innovation, collaboration and client service.
  • Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a portfolio of high-net-worth clients through various prospecting methods.
  • Present a broad array of products and services to clients.
  • Devise new methods to advise clients using strong analytic and inductive thinking.
  • Develop strong and effective working relationships with clients and third parties.
  • Request information and documentation from clients to open accounts.
  • Plan and organize activities and required resources to ensure smooth running of office.
  • Prepare and distribute documentation and information to clients including marketing materials, servicing packages, and proposals.
  • Support the Investment Counselor through the Investment Policy cycle from creation to trading implementation.
