About the position
The Principal UX Designer for Mobile at Bayer will lead the design of digital products focused on enhancing mobile experiences in the agricultural sector. The designer will collaborate with various stakeholders, mentor team members, and drive the execution of design solutions that meet business objectives and user expectations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management & business stakeholders to integrate the mobile experience strategy into the product roadmap.
- Define product design direction and collaborate with global design, product management, marketing, and engineering teams.
- Build strong relationships across business units to create win-win solutions.
- Leverage user research and insights to ensure products meet customer expectations.
- Set high standards for usability, functionality, and visual appeal in user experiences.
- Consistently deliver solutions that meet timing expectations and embrace rapid iterations.
- Communicate design decisions backed by data and customer insights to all stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop designers, fostering a collaborative culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a design-related field.
- 12+ years of UI/UX design experience.
- Available online portfolio showcasing design work.
- Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design.
- Proficiency with Figma.
