About the position
The Principal UX Designer at Bayer will focus on enhancing the mobile experience of the company's digital farming platform. This role is pivotal in shaping the vision and strategy for user experience, ensuring that products meet customer expectations through user research and design best practices. The designer will collaborate with various stakeholders to integrate mobile strategies into the product roadmap and will be responsible for delivering high-quality digital products that align with the company's goals in regenerative agriculture.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management & business stakeholders to integrate the mobile experience strategy into the product roadmap.
- Define product design direction and collaborate with global teams in design, product management, marketing, and engineering.
- Build strong relationships across business units to create win-win solutions.
- Leverage user research and insights to ensure products meet customer expectations.
- Set high standards for usability, functionality, and visual appeal in user experiences.
- Ship solutions that meet timing expectations and embrace rapid iterations as needed.
- Communicate design decisions backed by data and customer insights.
- Mentor and develop designers, fostering a collaborative culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a design-related field.
- 12+ years of UI/UX design experience.
- Available online portfolio showcasing design work.
- Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design.
- Proficiency with Figma.
