We are looking for a Principal Software Development Engineer to join our Zero Trust Exchange department in a hybrid capacity at our San Jose, CA office, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Software Development Engineering. In this role, you will implement high-impact ZCC tunnel features that enhance connectivity and security for our global user base. Additionally, you will lead the modularization of existing code into libraries to improve system maintainability and architectural stability.

Requirements

  • Strong C, C++, or Rust development experience
  • Experience with both Windows & macOS Client Development
  • Robust networking knowledge and engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing AI models for debugging and code generation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within the Client VPN space
  • Advanced expertise in networking architectures and C++ or Rust development
  • Strong experience working with AI agents

Responsibilities

  • Work on networking components in ZCC across all platforms
  • Write highly scalable and testable code with the assistance of AI
  • Debug customer issues utilizing state-of-the-art tools and AI
