About the position

As our Principal Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for evaluating the products, services, and markets of multiple competitors, advising on the organization's competitors for major product lines or services, and interpreting competitive analysis to incorporate into marketing strategy. You will identify new customer groups, create strategies to establish relationships with KOLs, and deploy resources to enhance marketing strategy to drive growth and customer engagement. Additionally, you will lead service and RDI collections across all NPD, sustaining and research projects, and develop key strategic documents such as strategic plans and annual marketing plans. Your role will also involve establishing multi-channel strategies for diverse products and services, forecasting service while considering market factors, and managing the product life cycle with clear multi-generational planning.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates the products, services and markets of multiple competitors.
  • Advises on the organization's competitors for major product lines or services.
  • Interprets competitive analysis and incorporates it into marketing strategy.
  • Identifies new customer groups and tailors marketing strategies.
  • Creates strategy to identify and establish relationships with KOLs.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with KOLs and translates insights into business strategy.
  • Conducts market research and integrates insights into marketing strategy.
  • Leads Service and RDI collections across all NPD, sustaining and research projects.
  • Develops and authors key strategic documents.
  • Establishes multi-channel strategies for diverse products and services.
  • Forecasts service while considering market and product factors.
  • Manages the product life cycle with clear multi-generational planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of work experience required.
  • 5+ years medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred.
  • Upstream or downstream marketing experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
