The Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Finance organization is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst (P3) to support the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS), Electro-Optical Infrared Solutions (EO/IRS) business. This position is onsite and mostly serves the McKinney and Forest locations. This position will be responsible for the daily financial activities on a set of programs mainly produced out of the McKinney Consolidated Manufacturing Center. Responsibilities include cost/schedule control and analysis, forecasting, estimate-at-completion (EAC), variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, partnering with the Program Manager, and CAM's/IPTLs, Material Program Managers, and Mission Area PMO/Finance and provide personal involvement in the successful execution of contracts. This position will require applying complex problem-solving strategies to program issues, deep dive data analysis in PRISM and APEX, along with interpretation of findings and mentoring junior level analysts. Other responsibilities are to drive the finance process for a set of programs to ensure and influence processes related to EVM policies and procedures and ensure we adhere to them with regards to BOM traceability, production labor, and production support labor. Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will also be required. OSC Finance serves as a critical business partner to the Program Operations Manager (POM) by providing the analysis, insight, and guidance to enable strategic decision-making and achieve effective bottom-line results.

Responsibilities

  • Cost/schedule control and analysis, forecasting, estimate-at-completion (EAC), variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting for a set of assigned programs and multiple contracts.
  • Frequent collaboration with the Program Manager, and CAM's/IPTLs, Material Program Managers, and Mission Area PMO/Finance.
  • Personal involvement in the successful execution of contracts.
  • Drive the finance process for a set of programs to influence processes related to EVM policies and procedures and ensure we adhere to them with regards to BOM traceability, production labor, and production support labor.
  • Actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the projects.
  • Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will be required.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic.
  • Typically requires 5+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3+ years prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in using SAP Business Systems and experience with PRISM EV.

  • Individual must be a self-starter and an independent worker in support of the program.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries to customer, organization, and peers.
