Requirements

10-25 years of design and field experience.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree
Professional licensure/registration for the state of IL required
Experienced with AutoCAD and computer aided analysis/design of structures is required
Strong oral and written communication skills are also required.
Some travel is required to attend site meetings and perform investigations.
The successful candidate will be able to bring a book of work and clients to SOCOTEC and help us to grow the Chicago office.

Nice To Haves

Master of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.
experience with BIM software a plus.

Responsibilities

Conducting field investigations, analysis and design
Interact with clients and other design and construction professionals.
Conduct forensic investigations and litigation support for expert witness services.
Able to perform business development tasks and develop a book of business.
Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
