We seek a skilled Kubernetes and OpenShift Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage, configure, and automate OpenShift environments to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient application deployment. You will collaborate closely with development teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, and maintain high availability and performance of container platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, configure, and automate Red Hat OpenShift environments.
  • Collaborate with application teams to integrate and deploy solutions within OpenShift.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Monitor platform performance, resolve issues, and maintain high system availability.
  • Optimize Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters for scalability and reliability.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on container orchestration and DevOps practices.
  • Stay current with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and DevOps trends and technologies.
  • Enforce security best practices across the containerized infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of DevOps or platform engineering experience with a strong focus on OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven expertise in managing OpenShift clusters and containerized workloads.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Go, etc.
  • Experience using configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
  • Strong grasp of Linux system administration, networking, and security practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to GitOps, ArgoCD, or Helm charts.
