About the position

The Principal Associate - Premium Marketing Strategist will lead direct response marketing initiatives for Capital One's premium product portfolio. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and creative execution. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project delivery and influence outcomes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Participate as the brand strategy lead in a collaborative cross-functional team.
• Provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
• Communicate and interact with key stakeholders at all levels to manage and influence outcomes.
• Shepherd multiple marketing creative projects from brief to execution, ensuring strategic intent aligns with delivery.
• Champion the brand by ensuring all product representations align with brand personas and style guides.
• Develop an understanding of the target audience and share best practices across channels.
• Leverage problem-solving and influencing skills to ensure marketing initiatives deliver on intent.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in brand strategy or product marketing with experience managing multiple channels.
• At least 5 years of experience in planning, executing, and analyzing marketing programs.
• At least 5 years of experience managing creative processes and partnering with creative teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in marketing or business.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing for a luxury brand.
• 5+ years of experience driving optimization plans and creative strategy.
• 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
