About the position
The Primary Care Nurse position at Mercy Family Medicine Edmond is a newly created role designed to enhance clinic operations by managing triage calls and messages. The role requires completion of three months of on-site training before transitioning to a hybrid work-from-home schedule, with ongoing on-site commitments for monthly meetings and occasional clinic visits. This position offers a competitive salary and a hiring incentive of up to $2,500.
Responsibilities
- Manage triage calls and messages for the clinic.
- Collaborate closely with Providers to ensure quality patient care.
- Attend monthly clinic meetings and be available on-site 1-2 times per week after training.
- Transition to a hybrid work-from-home schedule after completing training.
Requirements
- Active LPN or RN license.
- For LPN: Diploma in Practical Nursing and 2-3 years of experience preferred.
- For RN: Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing or Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of the bachelor's degree, along with 2-3 years of experience preferred.
