About the position
Bethany Medical, the largest independent multi-specialty group in Central North Carolina, is seeking a Primary Care Outpatient Physician to join their team. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, and treatment plans, while maintaining a focus on patient relationships and continuity of care. The practice emphasizes a multi-specialty approach to healthcare, ensuring excellent patient outcomes through collaboration and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
- Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes.
- Communicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information.
- Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
- Participate in a busy practice setting with a team of esteemed physicians and providers.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in family practice or internal medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to work as a team to achieve common goals.
