About the position

The position involves building relationships with Crane Worldwide's potential and existing customers, communicating all aspects of the company's capabilities and service offerings. The role requires negotiating directly with air and ocean carriers to achieve the best pricing and coordinating with various departments and offices both domestically and globally to create end-to-end logistics solutions. Additionally, the candidate will develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, negotiate and close major contracts, and maintain the existing client base while prospecting for new clients and opportunities. The job is not limited to the mentioned functions and may require additional responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with Crane Worldwide's potential and existing customers
  • Communicate all aspects of Crane Worldwide's capabilities and service offerings available to the client
  • Negotiate directly with air and ocean carriers to achieve best pricing
  • Coordinate with different departments and offices domestically and globally across the Crane Worldwide network to build end to end logistics solutions
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts
  • Maintain existing client base and simultaneously prospect for new clients and opportunities when possible
  • Perform additional job responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years freight forwarding experience preferred
  • Experience in the pricing of complete end to end solutions for commercial air freight/ocean freight shipments

  • Comfortable in a client facing environment when required
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Able to maintain a 'Customer Service' first attitude while operating in a high intensity / high volume environment.
