About the position
The Pricing Specialist at Festival Foods is responsible for supporting and collaborating with in-store pricing teams to ensure adherence to company pricing policies and procedures. This role contributes to store sales and profitability by managing various aspects of pricing, including labor, productivity, and guest experience. The Pricing Specialist will lead and coach teams, implement best practices, and engage with guests to enhance their shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and reinforce Festival culture and customer service expectations to Pricing Coordinators and teams.
- Assist in training Pricing Coordinators and pricing associates on standards and expectations.
- Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement best practices for accurate pricing and signage.
- Set clear communication of expectations and instill accountability for performance.
- Work cooperatively with Pricing teams, Store Directors, and department managers to ensure consistent execution of pricing standards.
- Provide guidance and answer questions for in-store pricing teams and leadership.
- Monitor compliance with safety standards and assist guests on the sales floor.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-2 years of leadership experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
- Knowledge of pricing and/or retail is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with interpersonal skills.
