About the position

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies for the company's products. They will analyze market trends, assess competition, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure competitive and profitable pricing structures. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive business decisions
  • Analyze customer buying patterns and external market conditions to develop effective pricing strategies.
  • Conduct market research to track relevant pricing trends and competitor pricing strategies.
  • Analyze historical sales data, customer purchasing patterns, and cost structures to inform pricing decisions.
  • Use data to drive insights that increase market share and optimize pricing performance.
  • Assess pricing impacts on profitability and customer demand.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Senior Leadership to develop pricing strategies, rebate programs, and promotional pricing.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track margin, costs, and pricing performance.
  • Maintain and update pricing structures, discounts, and price references in SAP for all customers and products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in pricing analysis, finance, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of pricing models, cost structures, and market analysis.
  • Familiarity with pricing software tools and advanced Excel skills.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
  • Problem-solving mindset, capable of addressing complex pricing challenges.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with CPQ software/CRM tools and SAP preferred
