About the position

As a Press Operator at American Plastics, you will be integral to the production, inspection, and packaging of injection molded products. This role emphasizes safety and efficiency in a clean and positive work environment, contributing to the manufacturing of essential retail storage and janitorial products.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from the conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble, and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. team lift.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and authorize a background check.
