Responsibilities

  • Press Maintenance
  • Supervise preventive maintenance schedules, preventive and predictive inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate and schedule manpower and materials to meet maintenance requirements to minimize downtime; coordinate maintenance activities with other plant operations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of downtime issues to prevent recurrence (4D process)
  • Work with ME/PE to launch new programs or equipment, optimize floor layouts, coordinate equipment refurbishment, and develop standardized PM programs from FMEAs
  • Execute prioritized daily maintenance activities (predictive, preventive, and crisis maintenance,) obtaining full utilization of the workforce while optimizing available opportunities for all maintenance.
  • Provide input to MPS for weekend and shutdown maintenance planning
  • Use Maximo for Maintenance (MFM) to document all maintenance activities (crisis and planned); provide quality assurance of MFM inputs to enable in-depth data analysis
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 1-2 years of technical work experience and troubleshooting in a Manufacturing environment
  • Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
  • Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Capable of assigning work to a unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms of safety, quality, and throughput
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-management skills
  • Demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
