About the position
The Preschool Support Specialist at Central Christian Academy is responsible for providing quality early childhood education while nurturing Christian values. This role focuses on creating a safe and engaging environment for preschool children, ensuring their well-being, and facilitating their development across various domains including social, emotional, physical, academic, and spiritual growth.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and fun environment for children from infants to preteens.
- Develop and implement creative and educational activities.
- Prepare and serve snacks and meals to children.
- Ensure good hygiene practices and change diapers as necessary.
- Clean interactive areas throughout the day.
- Organize activities and develop curriculum for older children.
- Maintain a daily schedule for the children.
- Keep records of each child's progress, interests, and any issues that arise.
- Maintain communication with parents and contact them in emergencies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- 1 year of childcare experience (preferred).
- Valid CPR Certification (preferred).

- Experience in teaching or early childhood education.
