A renowned agency like Catholic Family and Community Services requires a phenomenal Teaching Staff to support our 3 Early Learning Programs. We are currently looking for Pre-School Teachers to join our team. Our long established centers provide high quality preschool education with strong mentorship programs for teachers, small adult to child ratios (2 adults for a maximum of 15 children), and an inclusive educational program serving all children (English Learners, Special Needs). We have bilingual staff (Teacher and/or Assistant or both) and supportive relationships with families and community resource providers. We believe our biggest difference is the supportive, collaborative environment for staff, children and families throughout our community.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and implement instructional studies in accordance with guidelines from Creative Curriculum's The System.
- Properly document the social/emotional, physical, language/literacy, mathematic, and cognitive development of all students.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Adhere to all licensing and school district requirements.
Requirements
- Teacher of Preschool through Grade 3 Standard Certificate, CE or CEAS.
- Familiarity with ECERS, NAEYC, Creative Curriculum preferred.
- Strong oral and written English language skills.
- An energetic and positive approach to the rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex workplace.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual (Spanish and/or Arabic) preferred.
- First aid/CPR certification a plus.
