About The Position

We are seeking a Pre-K Teacher to join our team at New Horizon Academy Leawood! You'll love teaching with us, just as our children will love learning with you! Requirements

At least 6 months of experience working in an early childhood education setting.
Experience working in ECE and in classroom management.
Be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30am-6:00pm.
Have positive work ethic, and a team-centered attitude.
Be willing to learn and grow as an educator.
Enjoy working with children!
Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
Has a passion for working with young children.
Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
