About the position

The Practice Manager for Surgical Specialties at Banner Health is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an outpatient clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care and financial efficiency. This role involves leadership in employee engagement, operational management, and collaboration with clinical staff to enhance patient experiences. The Practice Manager will also focus on developing and marketing the specialty division, while fostering a positive work environment built on communication and trust.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the outpatient clinic.
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and customer service delivery.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budget preparation and payroll monitoring.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration among staff and physicians.
  • Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and government agencies.
  • Coordinate physical maintenance and equipment needs for the clinic.
  • Build and maintain community partnerships to attract and retain customers.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related setting with accountability for performance metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare, business, retail, or service industries.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
