About The Position

The Powered Industrial Truck Operator 1 encompasses all areas of the plant. This role requires the ability to read the production schedule and prepare materials in advance for the next three line items to be run. The operator must maintain a sufficient supply of raw materials needed for production and perform quality inspections for all products handled. This position requires working in and contributing to a team environment with minimal supervision. Additional tasks or duties may be required by the Lead Person and/or Supervisor, especially when production is low.

• Read the production schedule and have materials prepared in advance for the next three (3) line items that are scheduled to be run.
• Maintain a sufficient supply of raw materials needed for production.
• Perform quality inspection for all products handled.
• Work in and contribute to a team environment, with minimal supervision.
• Perform other tasks or duties as required by the Lead Person and /or Supervisor.
• Additional responsibilities may be required as needed and when production is low.
