We are seeking a passionate, customer-focused Power Backup Customer Care Specialist to help customers find the right power solution while delivering an exceptional showroom experience. The Power Backup Customer Care Specialist serves as a trusted resource for customers visiting the Houston showroom and contacting DuroMax Power remotely. This role combines customer education, product guidance, showroom sales support, and ongoing customer care. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, solving problems, and building relationships while assisting customers with portable generators, home backup solutions, accessories, and preparedness planning.

Requirements

2+ years of customer service, retail sales, showroom sales, account support, or related experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable speaking with customers both in person and over the phone.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Basic computer proficiency and experience using CRM or customer management systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience in generators, outdoor power equipment, home improvement, construction, HVAC, electrical, automotive, equipment rental, or related industries.
Prior showroom, retail, dealership, or consultative sales experience.
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
Interest in emergency preparedness, home backup power, or power equipment solutions.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with selecting portable generators, home backup solutions, accessories, and related products.
Generate quotes and assist customers through the purchasing process.
Follow up on showroom leads and customer inquiries.
Maintain awareness of promotions, product launches, and seasonal opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Assist customers with product questions, registration, warranty guidance, and basic troubleshooting.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and ongoing support.
Help resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
