About The Position

Responsible for organizing and delivering full service retail postal services (courier items, postal boxes, money transfers, call-in parcels) to Shoppers Drug Mart customers, maximizing department revenue and customer satisfaction. This role involves leading by example, ensuring staff demonstrate CORE Values, interviewing and recommending candidates for hiring, ensuring compliance with Store Standards, and training employees in job functions with ongoing coaching. The manager also assists with performance reviews of Post Office cashier staff.

Requirements

Experience with retail and cash handling
Superior interpersonal skills
Efficient time management ability
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends

Ensures employees present proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy
Ensures all loss prevention systems and procedures are performed according to Standards
Ensures procedures regarding parcel checks are adhered to
