About The Position

Customs Support Group (CSG) is Europe’s leading independent customs services provider, operating in 14 European countries with over 100 offices and a team of 1,700+ customs professionals. Founded in 1964, CSG helps companies move goods across borders smoothly and compliantly. They support over 60,000 clients and process over 20 million declaration lines annually, offering services from daily customs declarations to compliance, duty optimization, and trade advice. CSG combines local expertise with modern digital tools to handle large volumes accurately and efficiently. As customs rules become more complex and costly, CSG assists clients in staying compliant, reducing risk, and maintaining supply chain flow. This role is a 1-year fixed-term contract, remote-based in Spain, with periodic travel to acquired sites. The purpose of this position is to support CSG's expansion in Spain by ensuring newly acquired entities are effectively integrated into the CSG operating model within the first 12 months. The role requires an individual who can drive integration delivery, manage complexity, and work independently.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Experience with post-merger integration, business transformation, or management consulting is highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience with integration methodology, IMO setup, Day 1 readiness, workstream management, synergy tracking.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup while staying closely connected to a distributed team across Europe.
  • Confident communicator at all levels, from site managers to executive sponsors.
  • Based in Spain with the flexibility to travel to acquired locations across the country as integration activities require.
  • Spanish and English fluency -- both are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency with standard PM tools (MS Project, Jira, or equivalent) and MS Office.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of post-merger integration projects for CSG's Spanish acquisitions, managing scope, planning, milestones, risks, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Identify and manage interdependencies between workstreams (HR, IT, Operations, Finance, Commercial) and escalate blockers before they become issues.
  • Act as the primary integration contact for Spain, reporting regularly to the Head of Strategy and Integration Office and relevant C-level stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment between acquired Spanish entities and CSG Group standards, processes, and systems -- balancing speed of integration with operational continuity.
  • Facilitate structured integration workshops, decision checkpoints, and lessons-learned reviews on-site and remotely.
  • Contribute to the development of integration methodology and playbooks that can be applied to future acquisitions within Spain and across the Group.
  • Support any M&A due diligence activities where on-the-ground Spanish market knowledge adds value.
