About the position

As a Post-Closing Team Lead at Movement, you will manage a pipeline of 500-1000 active loans, ensuring efficient processing and sales of bond inventory within a 40-day timeframe. This role involves collaborating with team members, understanding closing documents, and providing feedback to management while fostering relationships with investors. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving monthly production targets and maintaining an organized workflow in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a pipeline of 500-1000 active loans.
  • Review individual pipelines with team members during one-on-one meetings.
  • Understand the documents that make up the closing package and investor-specific documents.
  • Use Docusign for electronic signatures from borrowers.
  • Provide feedback to upper management for quality trends within each investor.
  • Develop relationships with representatives from each investor.
  • Manage production to achieve a minimum of 300 sold 1st liens per month.
  • Create agendas for trending items and updates for bi-monthly team meetings.
  • Work closely with front-end operations to correct specific documents.
  • Manage the aged pipeline and provide current updates for tranche meetings.

  • Understanding of the documents within the closing package and investor-specific documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal partners and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to hit daily/weekly/monthly production targets.
  • Ability to learn quickly and implement new information into daily operations.
  • Adaptability.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years in the mortgage industry preferred.
