About the position

The Alarm Technician is responsible for the technical diagnosis, installation, and support of various security systems including Burglar Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV/Video, and Access Control systems at customer locations. This role requires travel to job sites, timely arrival in professional attire, and adherence to safety protocols while performing installations and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical diagnosis, installation, and support of Burglar Alarm, Fire Alarm, CCTV/Video, and Access Control systems.
  • Travel to job sites and arrive on time in professional attire with required tools and safety gear.
  • Diagnose system issues and advise customers on repair options, following established procedures regarding pricing and payment terms.
  • Perform installations as instructed, adhering to industry codes and norms.
  • Contact dispatch for assistance in troubleshooting or resolving issues as needed.
  • Follow customer-specific procedures for documentation and notification as described in service tickets or installation documentation.
  • Complete all other business-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in the Fire/Burglar Industry.
  • Ability to handle items weighing up to 50 pounds with sufficient manual dexterity.
  • A valid state motor vehicle driver's license.
