About the position

Auria Space is seeking a Portfolio Product Manager to support the United States Space Force in designing and developing applications that modernize Space Domain Awareness and Space C2 Warfighter capabilities. This role involves overseeing software development teams to ensure they meet warfighter needs, set objectives, and achieve milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and advise software development teams to ensure they meet warfighter needs.
  • Set objectives and milestones for application development.
  • Translate user needs into technical requirements and manage technical backlogs.
  • Develop applications to enhance capabilities for the Combined Space Operations Center, 18th Space Control Squadron, and National Space Defense Center.

Requirements

  • 15 years of relevant experience.
  • 10 or more years of direct experience as a Product Manager for application development teams.
  • 10 or more years supporting DoD software development programs.
  • Top Secret clearance required.
  • BS in management, computer science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience translating user needs and managing technical backlogs.
  • Experience developing space software.
  • Experience developing USSF/USAF software.
  • Ability to lead multiple independent application teams.
  • Ability to convey complex, technical ideas to government leadership.

  • 15+ years of experience translating user needs and managing technical backlogs.
